25 Cookies: Hit the Bonus — A Quick-Scan Pokie Guide
Playson dresses this five-reel pokie in warm christmas and winter colours, then backs the cosy look with a confirmed in-game jackpot and bonus buy. Here's what actually happens once you spin, and what it costs to buy in.
A Gingerbread-Warm Reel Set
The christmas and winter dressing here isn't a passing sale banner tacked onto a generic board — it's the whole scene: frosted gingerbread symbols, string lights and a cookie-jar backdrop carry all five reels from spin to spin. It's the kind of warm, cosy styling Playson leans on across its Hold and Win range, and I reckon it's one of the friendlier-looking entries in that family even though the numbers underneath run considerably hotter than the artwork suggests.
High Volatility, A 95.7% RTP
Behind the cosy art, 25 Cookies: Hit the Bonus runs high volatility: expect longer flat stretches between hits, then a cluster of bigger wins rather than a steady drip. Its listed RTP sits at 95.7%, a touch below the 96.01% median across the Here2Win Casino games covered on this site, so I'd treat it as a title to budget for rather than one that grinds out small, frequent returns. If a steadier comparison from the same studio appeals more, 100 Joker Staxx keeps a calmer medium pace without the jackpot chase.

In-Game Jackpot And Bonus Buy
Two features are confirmed for this title: an in-game jackpot that builds during ordinary play rather than through any separate purchase, plus standard bonus rounds. Alongside those sits a confirmed bonus buy option — a direct, paid route straight into the feature round. Buying in spends a noticeably bigger slice of your session budget in one go, so it's worth checking the current bonus terms before you buy if you're playing through an active wagering requirement, since compatibility with that wagering isn't guaranteed. For another Playson pokie with a confirmed jackpot to weigh against this one, 3 Luxor Pots: Hold and Win runs a similar hold-and-win structure under its own Egyptian dressing.
Budgeting A Session On High Volatility
High-volatility games like this one ask more of a session bankroll than the medium-paced titles on the site, simply because the swings run wider before anything lands. My habit is to set a fixed loss limit before the first spin, rather than chasing a jackpot that hasn't shown up yet. If a welcome package is still active on your account, the Bonus page sets out exactly what each deposit step covers, which is worth checking before deciding how much of tonight's session to fund with a fresh deposit versus bonus credit.
Who 25 Cookies Suits
This one suits players who like a jackpot to chase and don't mind bigger swings on the way there, especially if the winter theme appeals more than a straight fruit machine. It's less suited to anyone after a calm, steady session — the site's lower-volatility picks fit that mood better, since this reel set is built for patience rather than a gentle drip of small wins.
Other Playson Jackpot Picks Worth Weighing Up
- 3 Chillies and Joker: Hold and Win — Playson, 95.5% RTP, medium volatility, built around a fruit-and-777 theme with its own in-game jackpot.
- 3 Luxor Pots: Hold and Win — Playson, 95.76% RTP, high volatility, an Egyptian hold-and-win set with jackpot and bonus buy confirmed.
- 100 Joker Staxx — Playson, 96.48% RTP, medium volatility, a joker-and-fruit board with no bonus round or buy listed.
For the full spread of pace and providers on the site, the How to Pick Pokies hub sorts all of them by feel rather than alphabet.
The Verdict On 25 Cookies
A cosy winter theme sitting over a genuinely high-swing, jackpot-and-bonus-buy pokie — good fun for a budgeted session, less so for a slow grind.
